Summer’s Finally Arrived!
I hope that everyone’s having a good week and a wonderful summer so far.
I know that my second book of poetry, “The Dawn of A Poetic Summer” was initially launched back in February. I can’t thank my friends Tina and KB enough for all their efforts bringing this project to the fore.
There was a bit of a delay between the Kindle version and the paperback edition. I write this post with a big piece of news..
The book is now available in paperback! For real, it’s now listed on Amazon.
The poems in this book take place in the summer of 2020. With the heart of the pandemic in the rear view mirror, I’m striking a more reflective tone here. Dare I say, thinking of the day when the world would become a more normalized environment.
When I began writing A Poetic Journey: Staying at Home, I didn’t realize it would become the start of a series. That book captured a stillness—a season of looking inward, of slowing down.
Now here we are with, The Dawn of a Poetic Summer out in the world. It carries a different energy: lighter, warmer, yet still rooted in reflection. Together, these books feel like companion pieces—one leading naturally into the other.
Both are now available in print and e‑book:
A Poetic Journey: Staying at Home (Book 1)
The Dawn of a Poetic Summer (Book 2)
Whether you’ve been with me from the start or are just discovering my work, I hope these collections meet you where you are and offer something meaningful in return.
What poem stays with you after you close the book? I’d love to hear.
