The Blog Underneath The Security Blanket

Welcome, to The Blog Underneath The Security Blanket. Before the Instagram feed, newsletter and the Facebook group, this was my voice.

I began the blog in May 2013 at the advice of my friend Stephanie Infante. But I'm not a stranger to blogging as I had my first blog during my college years. But I gave up on it due to lack of interest and nearly tabled it altogether. I gave it another chance and began to enjoy expressing myself all over again. The blog became a way to communicate with the world as I went through life and all its travails. 

The name "The Blog Underneath the Security Blanket", is a homage to Linus Van Pelt of Peanuts fame who took his blanket around with him wherever he went, despite his sister Lucy's reminders to get rid of it. In my case, writing is my security blanket.
